Finish Cake!

Well now that im done with it. It's called Bánh Bò. [Yes kitty. try pronouncing it hahaha LOL]

Haha my granny woke up just in time.. when i made a mistake!! I put the 2nd ingredient in too early! I was putting in half of what i need when my brain froze.. and im like "Ohhh shit.. isnt butter suppose to.. be.. 2nd last?? OH CRAP!" then my granny came out of the toilet and i told her.. she wasnt too happy lol..

We continued adding ingredients.. which is never written.. i have to memories it cause it has "secret" ingredients xD

TICK TOCK TICK TOCK.. in the oven it goes.. In 10 mins it should be puffing up slowly..

10 mins later..

Its... puffing but not as much as its suppose too.. im praying that it turns out fine...

30 mins later

Its umm.. looks good! NORMAL actually! And its actually prettier than normal too xD Nice soft golden brown xD But its not fully cooked... so i turn off the heat and leave it in there for 5 mins..

OH CRAP!! Its soo.. PRETTY!! HAHA even my grandma was surprise.. she's like "i've never placed that ingredient in first.. because it sinks to the bottom.. but looks how this turned out.. what a wonder" [all in viet of course] AHhhh soo happy. Just one downside.. it's a big slopey on one side.. haha but Oh my.. the SMELL! Soo.. overwhelming LOL.

Gonna give half to my cousins xD Now since i know how to bake it.. and im gonna stick to my "accident" way.. im gonna cook it again one day and bring half for the group to enjoy xD

finally the 1st part done. had to wait for the sweetening to cool off completely.. but now itd 10pm and my granny is asleep.. i can continue it.. but i forgot how many eggs! 8.. or 9... hmmmm.. oh well im just gonna do it by myself then.. gawd i hope it goes well lol.. now that i dont have a supervisor here =]

YAY! FINALLY LOL! HAHAH

she's teaching me now.. but that means we have 2 cakes.. so we have ti give one and a half to aunt and uncle.. cause.. we've been eating them one after the other lol..


ahhh.. so after this she says she will each me other stuff xD I think roger read my blog.. cause when he saw he asks in viet "Grandma, are you teaching Sophia to bake the cake?" And he smiled at me.. ROFLS

School!

WELL 2nd day of school.. is alright.. im already in love with bio even though we havnt done anything xD It's just the teacher (Mrs. Pentecost)

Maths 2U advance? I feel like im gonna die.. like umm.. my teacher freaked EVERYONE OUT.. SERIOUSLY.. she's like ( i cant remember exact words)
1. If we dont work VERY VERY hard.. wont make it
2. If we tried hard and its still hard.. a big challenge.. drop out or move out
yea stuff like that..

she also asked.. who's from advance last year.. 98% of the class put their hands up.. then shes like.. who came from 5.2? (intermediate) 3 or 4 other people and myself put our hands up.. i saw her face.. i was looking at it deeply and it looked like she gave us (the 5.2 people) a expression like.. pity? no.. maybe not pity.. worried? yea maybe.. and its making me what.. stress and worry more.. because 2U advance is like.. advance for year 10.. and i went from Advance last year to Intermediate.. I dont want general.. its not my thing lol..

my granny ..

like NO its NOT WHAT YOU THINK! I love her.. she's the awesomeness gran ever.. but the thing is.. lol she keeps forgetting what she says and promises lol.. which no one can control.. its natural.. but i can be annoying..

like.. this is the main reason.. ok she been baking this "Banh Bo" for like years now.. and i've always watched.. but i never baked it cause she always.. so.. i dont really learn.. and then its always the same.. whenever she makes it.. this is what she says..

"You see.. you have to watch and learn, then you will know how to bake. Your mother doesnt even know how to bake it herself" This kinda pisses me off sometimes.. i always watch her.. my mum doesnt have the time.. i know my granny doesnt mean it the bad way.. cause she does understand how my mum is always busy.. but she KEEPS saying it! And she says "when i was your age i know how to bake all sorts of things.." well.. her time is different.. she knows this too and still.. she keeps saying this..

One OTHER thing.. with baking still.. is I'm starting to ask her if i can bake it.. and she says sure thing.. but then SHE bakes it =='. I only started to ask her yesterday? (wednesday) I asked her if i could do it afterschool. She said Yes! sure! then.. she says tomorrow.. soo tomorrow is TODAY.. i go home.. SOOO excited.. (i've been telling the group i was baking today!) i go home.. to find that she already did it.. =='

This happened not only today.. now that i think about.. but.. everytime i asked her.. she always bakes it herself.. and when i dont asks i hear her tell my dad that i always watch her yet never tried myself.. when im ABOUT to do it myself.. she says i cant do that part because it too hard for me.. and today she baked one.. so now i have to wait a FEW DAYS then i can try.. and if she DOES IT AGAIN.. omg.. im like.. i dunno... because if we keep baking it you know.. who's gonna eat this all the time one after the other? -deep sigh-

Birthday Boy!

Today is a special day. Not for me or any of the girls, but for Danny! Why else but today is his 17th BIRTHDAY!! Happy 17th Danny!!!! And since I cannot punch you I'm gonna ask Roger to do them for me xD

Back to School

Ahhh yes.. first day BACK.. I brought half my books .. just to bring the all home.. why? because we weren't allowed to use our lockers since they're still being moved around.

As a year 11, we were suppose to help out the years 7's (It was only us and then today) around the school.. but the thing is.. even we don't know where we're going!

Fate!

Yes.. i think its fate that me and Libby are never together.. last year and now this year. Last year i was with kelly.. for nearly every subject xD This year im with Kelly again for one subject one .. but libby? nah not a single one. I actually think thats a good thing.. cause if you guys think about it.. the most simple equation for this is..

Libby + Sophia = No work done (for me only)

Already got homework.. but that isn't as bad as the 3U maths people.. they may have a test tomorrow haha loool. Thats for being too smart. Good luck! You'll need it ;)

Anything else? hmm... I came home.. changed.. and slept til 7:30pm.. i was dead tired.. I have english homework.. due next week.. but im planning to do that tomorrow for Study Period..

BTW.. I (and many more people) think Mrs. Hennessy (sp) is pregnant.. That was my first thought when i saw her back.. so looked a bit more.. wider? LOL but yea.. and she's not wearing her usual high-heals.. which she always wears last year.. she's wearing flats!! Plus.. well her tummy looks different.. but WHO KNOWS! She may have gained weight.. or.. really pregnant.. time will tell ;) It's a bit scary though.. iw as waiting in the canteen for Libby and she comes and pats me on the shoulder.. then at lunch she passes my group.. sees me and winks.. haha lol.. scary..

Tutor!!!

First day was... GREAT!!

It's like.. the BEST TUTOR I'VE EVER BEEN TO! I was suppose to do maths and eng, but i cancelled english, cause next yr im doing bio so i dont want go the tutor 3 times... but now that i know my teacher.. it'll be pretty cool to have her for english.

In my class.. its only.. me and a guy called Kelvin (sp). Yup thats right. 2 students. I think its new so not many people know about it. I think the max number of students per class is 5.. but 10 is acceptable.

This teacher.. for the first time.. is VERY VERY ENTHUSIASTIC TO TEACH! LIke.. when i dont understand something.. her atmosphere is like.. soooo friendly.. its almost like libby's atmosphere when you're around her! And for the first time i wasnt afraid of talking or asking her.. we were doing .. i forgot the topic.. but anyways.. i didnt understand the simple stuff so i asked her soo many times.. and the more i asked the more happy she was to explain.. and it felt like she wanted to explain again and again until i understood xD

About the number of students.. im not sure if my class is just 2.. it could be more but i dunno.. and guess who im learning with? a smart one ==. He had a score of 95-98 on his sc for Maths.. and she asked me and i said 77.. and she was like "Thats good! Dont be ashamed of that thats still a high mark you know.. a lil more push and you'll be flying!"

lol.. funny.. she never stops smiling.. man.. im like.. in love with this tutor already lol. If only she teaches bio is would GLADY be in her class!!

No more keyboard..

yea.. im not able to play my keyboard anymore..

Long time ago the battery charger dropped and the bottom casing fell off.. so the inside bottom was exposed to the atmostphere.. WELL.. its been months it worked fine.. but now its leaking.. so its not usuable.. and without the adapter.. thats right! its called an adapter.. anyways.. without it the keyboard cannot operate SOO... i cant use it till dad buys another one :)

the big darker one is male.. he has a tag. Sad thing is.. right after this video.. he goes for ANOTHER bathe.. splashed water everywhere.. and i didnt get to capture that.. my laptop is wet now lol. He isnt afraid of the dog as much as the other one.. ooohh yea males on the right.

I dunno why there's 2.. so just watch one cause the other is exactly the same..

My dad just bought two beautiful canaries. A male and Female.. well hopefull.. they're hard to tell. One of them (has a tag on the feet) chirps alot.. although females chirp too, we hope this is a male. I'll take some pics of them when im not too busy. No names yet. My dad is to name. For the first time im not incharge of them! hehe

that means.. my dad is responsible for it.. feed them, bathe them, clean cage etc haha lol. My dog just sits in front of the cage and stares at them. well at least she got company xD

Dad's planning to breed them too. Their breeds are the Yellow Canary and the Lizard Canary.

TUTOR!

thats right.. tutor tomorrow... and i still have loads of homework from last time.

Im excited but scared.. because im lonely.. but thats the only way i'll learn and listen.. unless i somehow make a new friend and then.. .. ... :)

Man... i was soo excited today because we were suppose to go trash and treasure.. but i wake up early to find the weather gloomy.. sooo i dont really know if its open still.. cause it looks like its gonna rain..

well.. at least im still going movies today..

yesterday my mum said when i activate my keycard she's gonna withdraw $800 and im like "you're not serious are you?" LOL cause seriously.. if she does i'll have like $80 bucks left.. hahah and my Youth Allowance is cancelled.. I havnt called up yet.. cause i need my TFN which my dad has.. but neither of us cant be bothered LOL

Dreams and Nightmares

I just like the title.. anyways

after we went to pick my mum from airport .. we can home and slept.. like.. everyone slept.. except andy who was playing ps3 - Avatar lol

Anyways.. yes the title comes in here.. i had a dream or nightmare.. probably both.. and it was exciting and frightening.. i'd like to tell it but.. you know dreams are extremely long but i cant really remember it all too.. ok well i know "some" or the purpose in my dream.. my family and I were like.. i dunno.. cursed? in some sort of creepy game.. and we had to go to lvl 6.. and there's like an elevator that takes us there, but no ordinary... when we reach lvl 6 we have to go to lvl 1 which is located somewhere else.. and there's always a challenge to reach it.. ok elevators are like.. creepy.. i remember only 2. one is like.. its like a floorboard.. and it stands on a stick.. so if the weight isnt balanced it topples.. and i fell cause roger moved out and the whole family was running towards me to keeps it spinning.. but yea i fell and that feeling is.. ugh.. yea and then i fell on ANOTHER floorboard which flipped upside down and i was FALLING towards the top! get it? yea umm

second and last (last elevator in my d/n is TINY.. its size of my laptop.. a small rectangle.. somewhere along this watery thingo.. i dunno.... and mum dad and andy went 1st to lvl 6.. then me and roger.. but we weren't the only ones.. there was soo many other people trying to run.. the horror-stricken faces and emotions.. everyone was scared.. yea so when it came back down it was me and roger.. so i sat down.. somehow amazingly fitting.. and roger stood.. then we press the massive RED button and it went UP.. UP is.. like.. a tunnle.. exactly the same size as the ele (-vator) well.. we went up.. and we fitted.. but then.. my brother started hitting his head on floorboard ontop.. but he couldn't cause our family went.. its really confusing.. then we got up into an aeroplane..which was titled like its gonna drop.. and it was underground next min it was above ground lvl.. on the streets.. well it WAS tilting.. i felt it.. and roger climbed out the wrong window which sent it toppling.. and i climbed out after him.. then the aeroplane turned into cars.. that constantly turned around and tried to squash up.. roger and I.. i dunno how but we knew we had to go to he.. airport? we were running and running.. sweating and screaming.. other people were like us but to no avail.. we were hit and thumbed, thrown about but he got up and continued running.. then.. i woke up..

but i was like.. dead tired.. my eyes felt like they weighed a ton.. drowsy? i dunno soo tired.. i had to go help my granny hang the wet clothes.. in the heat.. with roger.. which makes it worse cause i shouldnt be out in the sun.. especially not in this state.. yea.. i told roger the dream and he's like.. "wow.. littlebigplanet" really messed you up' and my granny told me it was probably the heat affecting me.. (i only told granny i had a dream/nightmare)

5 in 1

Yay today I'm going to pick my mum up from the airport xD leaving at 9am. In the meantime, i showered and now i gotta wash the dishes.

Roger went tutor yesterday, he says she's a good teacher. Its at a house in liverpool. He gave me my work that i missed out and its equations and inequations and its already a bit confusing because i forgot how to do them! xD And i also got basic arithematics which should be ok. I have to finish both before monday ==

there's something wrong with my dog.. she's limping. COokie and roger was playing in the garden.. and he said she pounced on him and maybe got her footing wrong.. i dont buy that.. but yea.. seems to be her left hind leg.. limping since yesterday.. if it doesn't heal she's going to the vet..

Oh yeas.. gonna go fishing too! Got one spare seat.. anyone wanna come? My family and cousins family are going xD

Yesterday I covered 3 books.. and i remember starting at 12 something pm, and when i looked up the next time, it was 2 something pm.. my neck was dead sore..and not a single bubble! xD (well there are some.. but not really noticeable)

Study study study!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG Schools in a week and few days. Waiting for mum to come home to buy the writing books and new shirt for senior xD

Suppose to go tutor today, but my dad doesnt know where.. well he does know where because its the same place as one of his helpers.. (her son goes there) but then.. we dont remember what time "My" tutor starts.. because i have 2 subjects there and roger has 1. I have to start earlier than him like.. i dunno 4pm or 0430pm.. but anyways yea we're not going on first day then lol. so i have to catch up.. but i thought it started last year. idunno.. anyways, cutback on games! :'(

Sooo.. in a few days what do i have to do?
- Clean my room
- Start revising on maths
- Make my skin better in 3 days less :)
- House Chores! :(

umm ok.. if anyone else wanna come movies its on the 21st at livo.. i just checked the times and so far.. i see it only goes up to wednesday....... .... it should be on thursday too.. lets wait til tomorrow to check it out.

Best Time

Oh it was truly fun indeed. Although some things occured in the beginning it turned out a pretty good day in the end.

What am i talking about? The visit to Libby and Kelly xD

First thing me and libby dad was out to the park for some talk. I dunno if this is lucky, but we found a young long neck turtle stuck between some rocks. Im always looking out for living things when im surrounded with nature and this weird looking rock caught my eyes.. turned out to be a turtle! xD

Brought it back together and gave it a clean scrub because its shell was covered in dirty and slim and.. stuff lol. Well we went to search what type it was and yup.. a long neck turtle, young and male. How to tell if its a he? If you look at their belly, if it is concave its a male. (goes in) if it sticks out its a female (to store eggs) also by the tail. if their hole if right next to the shell - female. If hole it further out its a male. Sooo his name is Bob xD took him out and freed him.
Oh yea.. during the process of cleaning there were MANY MANY leeches too. those small types you find on fishes, yabbies, crabs, turtles etc.

We biked to bonny shops. ate in there.. looked around. Libby went high with the coke slushi lol. it was pretty scary how she didnt stop smiling ROFLS. went out to unlock bikes and then something started lmao. Libby was angry.. no.. FURIOUS. This.. asian dude was looking at me. I noticed he was looking but i just ignored it. Libby on the other hand couldnt let it go. She gave him her death stare.. i think that frightened him or something that he went into his car but he continued staring. I assume he was just looking. people look lol. Libbys assumption was he checking me out LOL. and he was what.. 30-40?

yea well left it at that.. when we came back we watched "fast and furious" and went back out for a bike and.. PAINTING! it was fun.. hard to find something inspiring. I tried a new technique rather than what i usually paint. brought it back.. we made kelly chose which one is mine and libby.. cause she DID say she knew.. but she didnt LOL.

talked.. alot xD and yea.. that night.. well.. the next day at 12am. I lost an uncle who is 47. He left back 2 sons. one with a family, and one who is only 4 yrs old. My mum is going back to vietnam again. In less than 2 months, she has lost her dad and now her brother. How did he died? the same way that nearly killed my dad. i forgot what is was, its not a heart attack. but what i know is, the heart rate can go up to 210. my dad went to 207. same as my uncle and thats how it killed him. yet my dad lives. btw. When my uncle died, he came back again for a minute or so, and left again.

Finally some fun!!!

Yes!! it's TIMEEE!! Going over to libby's house tomorrow!! and what for? JUst for FUN fun and did i say?.. FUN!!!

Im bringing over my bike and paint! sooo.. obviously going for a bike ride AND painting OUTSIDE in the nature so we are fresh and calm xD

I havnt told my parents about the bike, but im pretty sure they're going to let. Whats the point in objecting? im the one loading it on the car and it prob takes less than 5 mins! :)

I'm sooo excited. well i have altogether 5 more outings before school.

ANYWAYS

Today went to Marry Mackillop Place. It was good to read about her life again. We missed the mass though. but when we visited her tomb, my aunt cried. (oh yea.. I went with my aunt uncle and cousins. only me. 2nd time. only one in my family that has been there) why she cried? i think it was because she was praying for her youngest son, who is disabled in the brain i think? when she cried she nearly made me cried.. but i held it in. there was a couple of italian women too, who are absolutely religious. they cried and wiped Mary's tombstone. One lady said to my aunt "May your son get better" and she stood up, swipped her hand across Mary's cross on her tombstone, went to her picture, touched that, then went to my lil cousin and touched his foreheads and said some prayers. My uncle also took baby Dominic's hand and touched Mary too. very emotional time there.

After that went and ate pho at bankstown. it's nice but not as nice as Pho54 xD In the care me and my 2 other lil cousins were exploring the pressure points hahah it was painful but funny. I did the "smell you hand joke" to my lil cousin.. you know?

A: eww smell your hand. i think it stinks or something
